More than 120,000 concessionary pass holders add-ons are due to expire between February and 21<sup>st<\/sup> June 2021 but they will now be able to carry on travelling with their current pass.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Introduced last year any Greater Manchester concessionary pass holder who wished to continue enjoy using their passes on local trains and the Manchester Metrolink system was required to purchase one of these \u00a310 add-ons. The deadline for their renewal had initially been set at 31<sup>st<\/sup> March but has now been extended further in line with the \u201croadmap\u201d out of lockdown. The new deadline will continue to be reviewed alongside the progress of the proposed roadmap.<\/p>\n<p>Stephen Rhodes, TfGM Customer Director, said: \u201cExtending the scheme is primarily about helping keep all our passengers safe. After 21<sup>st<\/sup> June, concessionary pass holders should renew when they next need to travel by tram or train.
