According to reports in the press the incident involved two cars and gun fire although fortunately there were no injuries reported.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>For Metrolink the incident meant that trams were unable to run through St Peter\u2019s Square from approximately 2030 on Saturday 27<sup>th<\/sup> February until late on the following morning. As a result the following services were able to run on Saturday evening:<\/p>\n<p>Altrincham to Cornbrook<\/p>\n<p>Ashton-under-Lyne to Piccadilly<\/p>\n<p>Bury to Piccadilly<\/p>\n<p>East Didsbury to Firswood<\/p>\n<p>Eccles to Cornbrook<\/p>\n<p>Manchester Airport to Firswood<\/p>\n<p>Rochdale Town Centre to Exchange Square<\/p>\n<p>Trafford Park to Cornbrook<\/p>\n<p>The pattern was slightly revised on the Sunday morning with trams from Altrincham, East Didsbury and Eccles extended through to Deansgate-Castlefield.<\/p>\n<p>As for the serious incident the Police arrested three teenagers aged 15, 17 and 19on driving and firearms offences.
