Following swiftly on from the use of Birkenhead 20 for the BBC\u2019s Great British Railway Journeys programme the BBC were back in town for more filming \u2013 this time in connection with a documentary relating to the W.H.Wallace murder case in Liverpool in 1931.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Lucy Worsley and a small BBC team were on hand to film the tram along with two MTPS volunteers in appropriate period uniforms depicting W.H. Wallace\u2019s journeys on the evening of 20 January 1931. Filming took place along the length of the Birkenhead Tramway with both inside and outside views being recorded.
