Daubhill Depot, Bolton"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Another trip to the northwest of England for the latest instalment of our series looking at surviving structures from first generation tramways. This is one of the old depots in Bolton.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Daubhill Depot was located on the corner of St Helens Road and Hulton Lane and was opened by Bolton Corporation Tramways on 2<sup>nd<\/sup> January 1900, as the third of four depots which would serve their tramway system. It remained open until 28<sup>th<\/sup> March 1936 (the penultimate depot to close) and was then sold on for further use.
