As has often been the case since Covid hit the report released covers three consecutive reporting periods \u2013 from 18<sup>th<\/sup> October 2020 (period 8) to 9<sup>th<\/sup> January 2021 (period 10). Although there has been a fall in punctuality it is only a small decrease and the increase in reliability is more than 2% so it is a generally positive picture for how the system continues to operate.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Punctuality<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Trams departing less than 2 minutes late<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Period 8 (18<sup>th<\/sup> October to 14<sup>th<\/sup> November 2020): 94.0%<\/p>\n<p>Period 9 (15<sup>th<\/sup> November to 12<sup>th<\/sup> December 2020): 94.2%<\/p>\n<p>Period 10 (13<sup>th<\/sup> December 2020 to 9<sup>th<\/sup> January 2021): 94.0%<\/p>\n<p>The previous period was 94.4%. Period 4 in 2020 remains the highest in the past eight periods at 94.6%.<\/p>\n<p>For period 10:<\/p>\n<p>Highest performing line: Trafford Park line \u2013 98.1%<\/p>\n<p>Lowest performing line: Oldham &amp; Rochdale \u2013 87.9%<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reliability<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Planned miles operated<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Period 8 (18<sup>th<\/sup> October to 14<sup>th<\/sup> November 2020): 96.8%<\/p>\n<p>Period 9 (15<sup>th<\/sup> November to 12<sup>th<\/sup> December 2020): 93.8%<\/p>\n<p>Period 10 (13<sup>th<\/sup> December 2020 to 9<sup>th<\/sup> January 2021): 97.8%<\/p>\n<p>The previous period was 95.6%.
