{"id":37201,"date":"2021-01-10T11:00:25","date_gmt":"2021-01-10T11:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=37201"},"modified":"2021-01-10T08:49:20","modified_gmt":"2021-01-10T08:49:20","slug":"lockdown-walks-edinburgh-trams-257-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=37201","title":{"rendered":"Lockdown Walks: Edinburgh Trams 257"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In this edition of \u201cLockdown Walks\u201d we are again taking a trip to Edinburgh to view one of the trams currently carrying adverts on the network.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Since the first commercial advertising contract was signed on Edinburgh Trams in August 2017 (C R Smith and their many, many adverts!) all 27 of the fleet have carried some form of advertising. While some trams have had one advert applied only in that time there have been some (such as <strong>251<\/strong> which has managed four different adverts) with several different designs. For obvious reasons 2020 hasn\u2019t seen a huge number of new adverts applied but below we feature one of those which has appeared \u2013 <strong>257<\/strong>\u2019s advert for Ray Harryhausen: Titan of Cinema, an exhibition at the National Galleries Scotland.
