Andy Walters provides us with these photos.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Westside extension will run from the current \u2013 and temporary \u2013 terminus of Library travelling by way of Broad Street and Five Ways to a new terminus at Hagley Road, Edgbaston. There will be three new stops built (Brindleyplace, Five Ways and Hagley Road) and it is planned that eventually a peak service every 6 minutes (8 minutes off peak, 15 minutes on a Sunday) will operate through to Wolverhampton.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_37155\" style=\"width: 560px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?attachment_id=37155\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-37155\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-37155\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-37155\" src=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/1.westside-aw-550x260.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"260\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-37155\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Starting off at the Centenary Square end of the line and just onto Broad Street here we see the track in place and the top surface also now down.<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_37156\" style=\"width: 560px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?attachment_id=37156\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-37156\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-37156\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-37156\" src=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/2.westside-aw-550x260.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"260\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-37156\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A little further along Broad Street and work is continuing on the infrastructure works with the track also in place at this location.<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_37157\" style=\"width: 560px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?attachment_id=37157\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-37157\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-37157\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-37157\" src=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/3.westside-aw-550x260.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"260\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-37157\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Work is underway here on the first of the stops along Broad Street. Named Brindleyplace on all the literature for the line good progress seems to have made here since work commenced in December.
