{"id":36953,"date":"2020-12-24T14:00:44","date_gmt":"2020-12-24T14:00:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=36953"},"modified":"2020-12-20T10:48:39","modified_gmt":"2020-12-20T10:48:39","slug":"15-years-apart-blackpool-illuminated-frigate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=36953","title":{"rendered":"15 Years Apart: Blackpool Illuminated Frigate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Its back to Blackpool for this latest \u201c15 Years Apart\u201d and a tram which only just got to be featured as it only re-entered service during September during the 135<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary celebrations of the tramway.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Blackpool\u2019s <strong>Illuminated Frigate<\/strong> in 2006 still had its original (well, original for its rebuild anyway) light configuration with alternate colours on each bulb and was also still running without any external advertising (it had only been relaunched the previous year on a very wet evening). It also still had the fleet number <strong>736<\/strong> in large letters on the bow. This view shows the Frigate approaching Bispham on an illumination tour during the evening of 4<sup>th<\/sup> September 2005.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?attachment_id=36954\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-36954\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-36954\" src=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/1.736-gp-550x365.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"365\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/1.736-gp-550x365.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/1.736-gp-1024x680.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/1.736-gp-768x510.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/1.736-gp.jpg 1290w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We now move to 27<sup>th<\/sup> September 2020 and find the rejuvenated <strong>Frigate<\/strong> sitting on Pleasure Beach loop between tour duty on the evening of 27<sup>th<\/sup> September 2020 \u2013 just its second night back in service after prolonged workshop attention.
