Rochdale Corporation Tramway track"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today as we return to \u201cStill Standing!\u201d \u2013 those pieces of old tram infrastructure which remain in situ all these years later \u2013 we find some more long disused track, this time we are in Rochdale.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Before the advent of Manchester Metrolink the last trams had run in Rochdale on 12<sup>th<\/sup> November 1932 when the final joint route with Manchester stopped operating. However, this short stretch of track dates a little bit earlier than that as it was on the Littleborough route which ended on 18<sup>th<\/sup> October 1930.
