{"id":36807,"date":"2020-12-13T10:00:28","date_gmt":"2020-12-13T10:00:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=36807"},"modified":"2020-12-13T08:33:08","modified_gmt":"2020-12-13T08:33:08","slug":"trams-sunderland-16-bus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=36807","title":{"rendered":"Trams &#038;: Sunderland 16 &#038; bus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are again off to Beamish in this edition of \u201cTrams &amp;\u201d as we take a look at Sunderland 16 alongside one of the museum\u2019s resident buses.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This scene was captured on 8<sup>th<\/sup> April 2016 \u2013 a rather drab and grey day by the looks of things \u2013 at Foulbridge tramstop. With the track leading to the depot in the foreground and the road down to the pit village just visible between the two vehicles we see <strong>Sunderland 16<\/strong> about to continues its never ending journey around the museum tramway.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside the tram is the London General B type replica bus which is often to be seen operating around the museum, going those places the trams can\u2019t \u2013 such as the pit village!
