Midland Metro 04"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today we have another edition of our series where we take a look at what happened to the original trams built for the Midland Metro \u2013 the T69s.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In this edition we feature <strong>04<\/strong> which was the second of the trams to arrive during June 1998, this one arriving at Wednesbury Depot on the last day of the month. Having entered service the following year 04 would remain active until withdrawal came in February 2015 (whereas the first three were withdrawn in order, <strong>04<\/strong> was the ninth to be taken out of service).<\/p>\n<p>It would be 23<sup>rd<\/sup> March 2016 that Allely\u2019s collected the tram from Wednesbury taking it to Long Marston for storage and it too would remain there for just over two years before it was sold for scrapping.
