A man has died after being hit by a tram at Bulwell on the East Midlands Railway Robin Hood line which runs alongside the tram line to Hucknall. Due to the proximity of the railway and tramway, NET services were suspended whilst the emergency services dealt with the incident. Tragically the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident was reported at around 0700 with tram services resuming approximately two hours later.
