{"id":36314,"date":"2020-11-10T18:00:52","date_gmt":"2020-11-10T18:00:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=36314"},"modified":"2020-11-10T16:16:11","modified_gmt":"2020-11-10T16:16:11","slug":"picture-in-time-docklands-light-railway-47","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=36314","title":{"rendered":"Picture in Time: Docklands Light Railway 47"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Before our modern tram Picture in Time series takes a break we are again making a stop on the Docklands Light Railway for an archive image dating from 2003.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In the below photo we see B92 <strong>47<\/strong> just arriving at Limehouse on 12<sup>th<\/sup> March 2003 \u2013 the railway out of London Fenchurch Street can be seen to the right of this image. On this day <strong>47<\/strong> was partnered with <strong>78<\/strong> but this image doesn\u2019t show the other part of this working. What can clearly be ascertained here though is that <strong>47<\/strong> is in an advertising livery for Lewisham Shopping Centre. This was probably the peak period of advertising liveries for the DLR with several companies having special liveries adorning the trains, something today that is a very rare occurrence.
