{"id":35999,"date":"2020-10-21T18:00:15","date_gmt":"2020-10-21T17:00:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=35999"},"modified":"2020-10-16T20:21:29","modified_gmt":"2020-10-16T19:21:29","slug":"picture-in-time-docklands-light-railway-1341","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=35999","title":{"rendered":"Picture in Time: Docklands Light Railway 13+41"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today we are heading off to the Docklands Light Railway for another archive image.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Again, taken on 4<sup>th<\/sup> November 2003 this time we are at Limehouse where two units of different classes are working together on a service although the reflections of the light make it unclear where they are heading to! The front train is a B2K class, no. <strong>13<\/strong>, and it is joined by a B90 class, no. <strong>41<\/strong>. The B90s were built in 1991-92 by BN Construction in Brugge (a company which would become part of Bombardier) and are the oldest trains remaining in service although will be replaced by a new fleet of trains from 2023.
