This is the latest phase of a \u00a38 million track renewals programme and will centre on an 1.8km stretch of line between Heworth and Pelaw.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The work will take place as follows:<\/p>\n<p>Saturday 8th &amp; Sunday 9th August: No trains Gateshead Stadium-South Shields\/South Hylton<\/p>\n<p>Saturday 15th &amp; Sunday 16th August: No trains Gateshead Stadium-Jarrow\/South Hylton<\/p>\n<p>Saturday 22nd &amp; Sunday 23rd August: No trains Gateshead Stadium-Jarrow\/South Hylton<\/p>\n<p>Saturday 29th to Monday 31st August: No trains Gateshead Stadium to Jarrow\/South Hylton<\/p>\n<p>Replacement bus services will run on all four weekends, including express bus services.
