{"id":34936,"date":"2020-07-28T18:00:50","date_gmt":"2020-07-28T17:00:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=34936"},"modified":"2020-07-28T16:31:15","modified_gmt":"2020-07-28T15:31:15","slug":"around-the-world-in-trams-amsterdam-787","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=34936","title":{"rendered":"Around the World in Trams: Amsterdam 787"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today we are again in Amsterdam for a view taken during March 1988 of another tram which has since been scrapped.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>LHB 9G tram no. <strong>787<\/strong> is seen here being used for Driver Training \u2013 on route \u201cL\u201d! \u2013 during March 1988. This is one of 25 of this type of tram introduced into service in Amsterdam in the period 1979-1980 with this particular example being used for the first time in September 1979. A three section articulated tram it is seen in a yellow livery here. None of this class remain in service today with a number sold on to Sarajevo in 2009.
