{"id":34786,"date":"2020-07-18T14:00:42","date_gmt":"2020-07-18T13:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=34786"},"modified":"2020-07-22T19:37:02","modified_gmt":"2020-07-22T18:37:02","slug":"lockdown-walks-edinburgh-trams-252-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=34786","title":{"rendered":"Lockdown Walks: Edinburgh Trams 252"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It was the very first new tram to arrive in Edinburgh \u2013 in 2010, some ten years ago now! \u2013 <strong>Edinburgh Trams 252<\/strong> and it is the subject of our latest \u201cLockdown Walk\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>252<\/strong> was delivered to the City of Edinburgh on 27th April 2010 \u2013 by far the first piece of the plan to bring trams back to the city to be anywhere near ready! It was put on display on Princes Street, at the site of the eventual location of the tramstop there, from April through until November of that year before it had to be moved.
