{"id":34761,"date":"2020-07-17T18:00:11","date_gmt":"2020-07-17T17:00:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=34761"},"modified":"2020-07-17T18:00:13","modified_gmt":"2020-07-17T17:00:13","slug":"picture-in-time-leeds-160","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=34761","title":{"rendered":"Picture in Time: Leeds 160"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We continue our look at trams which found their way to the Middleton Railway in Leeds this week with a photo of <strong>Leeds 160<\/strong> this week.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>160<\/strong> was one of 100 four wheel trams known as Horsfield cars introduced into service in Leeds between 1931 and 1932, of which <strong>180<\/strong> at Crich is the sole representative in preservation today. But it wasn\u2019t always so as the Middleton Railway once had two examples in store, <strong>202<\/strong> and, this example, <strong>160<\/strong>. This view shows the tram in storage at Middleton during the early 1960s.
