Old overhead tram pole, Edinburgh"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In this edition of \u201cStill Standing\u201d we are again to heading to Edinburgh, this time the feature of the article is an old tram overhead pole.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve seen plenty of overhead rosettes (where the overhead wires were directly connected to buildings) in Edinburgh during this series but there were also locations where the traditional overhead poles could also be found. In the below photo we see a pole next to the BMC Club where the Gorgie Tram Depot was once located.
