During the morning popular duo <em>Princess Alice<\/em> and <strong>Balloon 717<\/strong> were in use on specials before <strong>Box 40<\/strong> replaced Alice and then <strong>Boat 230 <\/strong>came into use instead of <strong>717<\/strong>. <strong>230<\/strong> even managed a trip all the way through to Fleetwood at the request of the driver who is close to retirement.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_3391\" style=\"width: 560px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?attachment_id=3391\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3391\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3391\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-3391\" title=\"717+t2-kw\" src=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/717+t2-kw-550x412.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"412\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/717+t2-kw-550x412.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/717+t2-kw-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/717+t2-kw.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-3391\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Probably the advertised highlight of the day was the use of Twin Car 272+T2 in use on the timetabled service.
