The first trams ran in 1865 and although there have been route closures after the peak was reached between the two wars it still remains an extensive standard gauge tramway.<\/p>\n<p>Taken on 19th May 2012 this first view shows <strong>4010<\/strong> at the lower level at Schottentor. This is the terminus of routes 37\/38\/40\/41\/42 and provides an interchange with the Vienna U-Bahn line U2.
