{"id":32883,"date":"2020-03-08T14:00:57","date_gmt":"2020-03-08T14:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=32883"},"modified":"2020-03-08T08:30:11","modified_gmt":"2020-03-08T08:30:11","slug":"in-pictures-31-back-in-service-on-west-midlands-metro","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=32883","title":{"rendered":"In Pictures: 31 back in service on West Midlands Metro"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It doesn\u2019t seem to take long between a successful test and a tram entering service on the West Midlands Metro as <strong>31<\/strong> \u2013 named Cyrille Regis MBE 1958-2018 \u2013 is now once again part of the operating fleet.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->31 was first used in passenger service again on Thursday 5th March when it was allocated to PM peak service \u2013 just one day after it was seen on the line undergoing tests following the conclusion of accident repairs. Of course, <strong>31<\/strong> had been out of service since 19th August 2019 when it was involved in a collision with a car in Wolverhampton which caused significant damage which was repaired \u201cin house\u201d at Wednesbury Depot.<\/p>\n<p>With <strong>31<\/strong> back in service it now means only one tram is out of service.
