It\u2019s a more modern image than we have featured recently from Tramlink for today\u2019s edition of \u201cPicture in Time\u201d with the trams having already received the more recent fleet livery.<\/p>\n

This image was taken at East Croydon and shows three consecutively numbered trams occupying the three platforms at the stop \u2013 if only 2547<\/strong> and 2546<\/strong> has been the other way round and it would have been a perfect ascending order! On the left we see 2545<\/strong> which is operating an eastbound service although the destination can\u2019t be read while the centre platform \u2013 fairly rarely used \u2013 is occupied by 2547<\/strong> and will be running a service to New Addington. The scene is completed by 2546<\/strong> which has just terminated with a service from Beckenham Junction. Judging by the central platform being used and that 2546<\/strong> has terminated presumably there is some engineering work underway on the central Croydon loop. The photo was taken on 28th August 2013.<\/p>\n
