This edition of \u201c15 Years Apart\u201d is back in Blackpool for yet another view of a Balloon Car, this time around its <strong>719<\/strong>, another tram which has undergone changes over the past 15 years.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Back in 2004 and it wasn\u2019t exactly as if <strong>719<\/strong> was just a normal Balloon as it carried an all over advert for Walls Ice Cream, its second design for this sponsor which still featured additional moulded sections on top of its standard bodywork. By this second design the ice cream counter originally provided had long gone but nonetheless it was still a unique tram in the fleet. This yellow, red, blue and silver advert had been applied in the summer of 2001 and would remain in situ for a further two years. <strong>719<\/strong> is at North Pier on 11th September 2004.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?attachment_id=31605\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-31605\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-31605\" title=\"1.719-gp\" src=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/1.719-gp-550x385.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"385\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/1.719-gp-550x385.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/1.719-gp-1024x717.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/1.719-gp.jpg 1128w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>By 2019 and <strong>719<\/strong> has become a member of the \u201cB\u201d fleet of trams with the widened centre entrances although as with the majority it has rarely been used for this purpose up to this point.
