{"id":31487,"date":"2019-12-12T10:00:03","date_gmt":"2019-12-12T10:00:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=31487"},"modified":"2019-12-08T11:12:43","modified_gmt":"2019-12-08T11:12:43","slug":"15-years-apart-docklands-light-railway-05","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=31487","title":{"rendered":"15 Years Apart: Docklands Light Railway 05"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We go modern again for this look at trams \u201c15 Years Apart\u201d, although with us featuring the Docklands Light Railway it is more a case of light rail vehicle than tram.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The feature of both photos here is <strong>05<\/strong> which is one of the final batch of similar trains built for the DLR by Bombardier. Constructed in 2001 the B2Ks were very similar to the previous B90 and B92 trains and at the time of this photo had been in operation for some three years. We see 05 in this 2004 view at the old Stratford terminus (much more cramped than today\u2019s rebuilt station) when it was partnered by fellow B2K vehicle <strong>07<\/strong>. It was also carrying its original livery.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?attachment_id=31488\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-31488\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-31488\" title=\"1.05-gp\" src=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/1.05-gp-550x364.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"364\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/1.05-gp-550x364.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/1.05-gp-1024x679.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/1.05-gp.jpg 1158w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/a>Then on 23rd March 2019 we see <strong>05<\/strong> running as part of a triple unit (joined by <strong>87<\/strong> and <strong>72<\/strong>) arriving at Deptford Bridge on the Lewisham line. In the intervening years 05 has received a new livery with the more attractive \u201criver\u201d style livery now being carried.
