{"id":31380,"date":"2019-12-09T18:00:09","date_gmt":"2019-12-09T18:00:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=31380"},"modified":"2019-12-09T12:51:16","modified_gmt":"2019-12-09T12:51:16","slug":"ftt-get-a-dome-and-compressor-as-an-early-christmas-present","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=31380","title":{"rendered":"FTT get a dome and compressor as an early Christmas present!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It has been another busy week of progress for two of the Fylde Transport Trust\u2019s trams with both <strong>Railcoach 279<\/strong> and <strong>Coronation 304<\/strong> seeing significant arrivals as they continue their long roads back to service.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Starting off with <strong>279<\/strong> and a major milestone was reached as one end has seen the roof dome fitted, really making a difference in returning this tram to its original streamlined Railcoach condition. If the fitting of the dome wasn\u2019t enough then the first destination blind aperture was also cut, with destination blind added! The tram will feature twin destination screens when completed.<\/p>\n<p>Although not fitted back to the tram yet a significant achievement was reached on the overhaul of <strong>Coronation 304<\/strong> too.
