Its been a challenging couple of months for the Heaton Park Tramway with the theft of overhead wire leading to the closure of the tramway for around a month whilst the local community and TfGM\/KAM rallied around to help replace the equipment. But now with the tramway back operating again they are ready to celebrate the end of season on Sunday 17th November.<\/p>\n
Highlights of the event will include:<\/p>\n
* 3 tram service between 1130 and 1730 (Hull 96<\/strong>, Blackpool 623<\/strong> and Manchester 765<\/strong>)<\/p>\n * Shop and museum open from 1100<\/p>\n * Rare opportunity to ride on a tram in the dark at Heaton Park<\/p>\n After the event the tramway will be closed for the winter period so if you want a heritage tram ride on Greater Manchester you need to get along on 17th November!
