{"id":29941,"date":"2019-09-15T17:00:27","date_gmt":"2019-09-15T16:00:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=29941"},"modified":"2019-09-15T10:15:37","modified_gmt":"2019-09-15T09:15:37","slug":"around-the-world-in-trams-amsterdam-662","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=29941","title":{"rendered":"Around the World in Trams: Amsterdam 662"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For the next few weeks it will be more a case of \u201codds and sods\u201d for our worldwide tram picture series as we take a look at trams from various different systems, starting off with a historic image from Amsterdam.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The below image was taken in 1967 and at the time <strong>662<\/strong> was just three years old having been introduced into service in the June of 1964. A Werkspoor 5G tram it was operating on route 25 when captured on camera with a livery which can be best described as white and green. The tram is joined by an unidentified classmate and of particular note here is that <strong>662<\/strong> is carrying a postbox \u2013 a sight you won\u2019t see today!
