{"id":29755,"date":"2019-09-04T22:00:02","date_gmt":"2019-09-04T21:00:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=29755"},"modified":"2019-09-04T18:30:54","modified_gmt":"2019-09-04T17:30:54","slug":"in-pictures-box-40-runs-for-the-last-time-at-beamish","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=29755","title":{"rendered":"In Pictures: Box 40 runs for the last time at Beamish"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sunday 1st September was the last opportunity to enjoy a ride on <strong>Blackpool &amp; Fleetwood Box 40<\/strong> at Beamish ahead of its departure from the north east to return to Crich, where it was last seen for a brief spell in 2014. On the day \u2013 another busy and sunny day at Beamish \u2013 it was part of a four tram service operating around the museum and amongst the many visitors was David Maxwell.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>40<\/strong> ran with <strong>Sheffield 264<\/strong> on the anti-clockwise circuit whilst in the clockwise direction saw <strong>Blackpool 31<\/strong> and <strong>Newcastle 114<\/strong> in operation. With the two Blackpool cars running in opposite directions it provide for a number of photographic opportunities of the two together \u2013 with these two trams likely to not be meeting up for the foreseeable future.
