{"id":28627,"date":"2019-07-10T22:00:43","date_gmt":"2019-07-10T21:00:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=28627"},"modified":"2019-07-10T19:36:56","modified_gmt":"2019-07-10T18:36:56","slug":"in-pictures-crumpsall-gets-tms-equipment-ready-for-trafford-park-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=28627","title":{"rendered":"In Pictures: Crumpsall gets TMS equipment ready for Trafford Park service"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Manchester Metrolink Bury line was closed in its entirety on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July with the main purpose seeing the installation of the majority of the TMS (that\u2019s Tram Management System not Test Match Special!) equipment needed to control the new platform when trams from the Trafford Park line start to terminate in early 2020. This is a vital step for the introduction of these services and will allow the safe movement of trams into the bay platform here. The chance was also taken on Sunday 7th for some work to take place at Victoria with a half set of switches (points) replaced at the city end of the stop.
