As you may recall <strong>264<\/strong> had been undergoing attention in the Beamish workshops for a motor overhaul and reprofiling of its wheelsets but with this work now completed the tram is back in service once more! Testing of <strong>264<\/strong> began on 25th April and the tram was back in service on Monday 29th April.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The seven trams now available for service cover most bases for all weathers with two open toppers in the form of <strong>Blackpool 31<\/strong> and <strong>Newcastle 114<\/strong>, three single deckers with <strong>Oporto 196<\/strong> and on loan pair <strong>Blackpool &amp; Fleetwood 40<\/strong> and <strong>Manchester 765<\/strong>, a fully enclosed double decker in <strong>Sunderland 16<\/strong> and <strong>Sheffield 264<\/strong> an open balcony double decker.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_27292\" style=\"width: 560px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?attachment_id=27292\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-27292\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-27292\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-27292\" title=\"1.264-dm\" src=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/1.264-dm-550x412.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"412\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/1.264-dm-550x412.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/1.264-dm-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/1.264-dm.jpg 1290w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-27292\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The second day of service for Sheffield 264 was on 30th April when it was running on the anti-clockwise circuit.
