{"id":2717,"date":"2013-01-05T19:38:05","date_gmt":"2013-01-05T19:38:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=2717"},"modified":"2013-01-05T19:41:24","modified_gmt":"2013-01-05T19:41:24","slug":"information-event-for-new-metrolink-stop-at-queens-road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=2717","title":{"rendered":"Information event for new Metrolink stop at Queens Road"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Transport for Greater Manchester are holding an information event on proposals for a new\u00a0Metrolink stop at Queens Road \u2013 next to the depot \u2013 on Wednesday 9 January so anyone interested can find out the benefits of the new stop and to see initial designs.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The stop would be served by trams on the Bury line and would be the first stop after leaving Victoria. It would become the second new stop to be built on the Bury line since opening following on from Abraham Moss and would be another reason why Woodlands Road stop needs to close as it would leave three stops in close proximity.
