{"id":26969,"date":"2019-04-16T20:00:15","date_gmt":"2019-04-16T19:00:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=26969"},"modified":"2019-04-16T19:28:42","modified_gmt":"2019-04-16T18:28:42","slug":"in-pictures-23-returns-to-service-with-batteries-fitted","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=26969","title":{"rendered":"In Pictures: 23 returns to service with batteries fitted"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There are now nine West Midlands Metro Urbos 3 trams available for passenger service with batteries fitted with the latest, <strong>23<\/strong>, being used in revenue earning service on Friday 12th April \u2013 although the tram was then noted out of service the following day.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><strong>23<\/strong> had been fitted with the batteries in recent weeks and after a period of testing and commissioning it was passed over to the operational fleet with its first use being on Friday 12th April. However, there was a loud noise emanating from the bogies which saw the tram then stabled outside the depot the following day possibly awaiting further attention before being returned to service once more.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, other workshop attention has been concentrated on <strong>33<\/strong>.
