{"id":26694,"date":"2019-03-27T22:00:58","date_gmt":"2019-03-27T22:00:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=26694"},"modified":"2019-03-27T15:48:09","modified_gmt":"2019-03-27T15:48:09","slug":"power-failure-causes-more-problems-for-west-midlands-metro","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=26694","title":{"rendered":"Power failure causes more problems for West Midlands Metro"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Coming just a couple of weeks since damage to the overhead wires caused major disruption to West Midlands Metro services, there has been further problems with a power failure meaning no trams were able to run into Birmingham City Centre for periods on Sunday 24th and Monday 25th March.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The failure in one of the substations meant that trams were only able to run between Wolverhampton St George\u2019s and Soho Benson Road with passengers for Birmingham City Centre advised to transfer to trains at The Hawthorns.
