These units can only work with each other and currently with <strong>4040<\/strong> out of service at South Gosforth Depot this has meant only one pair is seen in service. <strong>4001<\/strong> and <strong>4083<\/strong> \u2013 the latter of which is in an advert for Emirates \u2013 had been paired together for quite some time but recently the two prototypes have been running together on peak time extras as seen in the below photo from Trevor Hall.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_26547\" style=\"width: 560px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?attachment_id=26547\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-26547\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-26547\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-26547\" title=\"4001+4002-th\" src=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/4001+4002-th-550x363.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"363\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/4001+4002-th-550x363.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/4001+4002-th.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-26547\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">4001+4002 are seen at Pelaw on 15th March whilst in use on peak time extras. With these two partnered together and 4083 now orphaned at the depot it now means that all trains in action are in the same fleet livery.
