The latest four week period of performance on the Tyne and Wear Metro has seen a small increase although it is still at a disappointing level, especially for anyone who is trying to get around the region and relying on the Metro.<\/p>\n
In the four weeks between 3rd February and 2nd March 2019 83% of trains arrived on time (that\u2019s either within three minutes late or 30 seconds earlier), up from 81% in the previous four weeks. Another good piece of news is that the same period in 2018 saw 79% of trains on time.<\/p>\n
During this period there were a couple of issues which affected services with a power circuit fault on 4th February and two \u201cdriver resource issues\u201d on 8th and 16th February.
