The reason given for this is staff shortages but it is hoped that it will be able to open seven days a week again in the future with the opening hours being constantly reviewed. It should also be noted that anyone planning a visit is advised to check beforehand whether the shed where the trams are housed is open as it is not always open on days when the museum is.
