{"id":26065,"date":"2019-02-17T17:00:27","date_gmt":"2019-02-17T17:00:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=26065"},"modified":"2019-02-17T09:14:33","modified_gmt":"2019-02-17T09:14:33","slug":"around-the-world-in-trams-budapest-2035","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=26065","title":{"rendered":"Around the World in Trams: Budapest 2035"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today we feature one of the more modern trams to be found in Budapest \u2013 a Siemens Combino, numbered <strong>2035<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Siemens delivered 40 of these Combino Supra 6 section articulated trams in 2006\/7 and when they were delivered they were, for a time, the longest trams in the world at 54 metres. They are used on routes 4 and 6, these routes are amongst the busiest in the world and carry more passengers than any of the Budapest metro lines.
