No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><strong>3089<\/strong> was the tram involved with the car said by Metrolink to have \u201cstrayed onto the tracks\u201d when it was hit. No obvious major damage was caused to either vehicle but the tram service was suspended between Sale Water Park and Martinscroft for around an hour from 1000 whilst the car was removed from the scene and the tram \u2013 which was bound for the Airport at the time \u2013 was recovered back to depot for assessment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Manchester Metrolink services to the Airport were disrupted for approximately an hour on Tuesday 12th February after a car \u201cstrayed onto the tracks\u201d and was hit by a tram close to the stop at Northern Moor.
