{"id":23817,"date":"2018-09-13T18:09:58","date_gmt":"2018-09-13T17:09:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=23817"},"modified":"2018-09-13T18:09:58","modified_gmt":"2018-09-13T17:09:58","slug":"picture-in-time-midland-metro-12-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=23817","title":{"rendered":"Picture in Time: Midland Metro 12"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The West Midlands is the location for the latest edition of Picture in Time as we head back to 2004 for an image taken on Midland Metro.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->In this photo we see T69 <strong>12<\/strong> on the final approach to Wolverhampton St George\u2019s in June 2004 with a service which would have originated at Birmingham Snow Hill. This is the original layout at St George\u2019s when there were still two platform faces with the track leading to the now closed platform visible on the left of the photo.<\/p>\n<p>The tram was delivered to the West Midlands from Italy on 16th October 1998 and remained in service until January 2015 when it was withdrawn and stored at Wednesbury Depot.
