{"id":23807,"date":"2018-09-11T18:25:03","date_gmt":"2018-09-11T17:25:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=23807"},"modified":"2018-09-11T18:25:04","modified_gmt":"2018-09-11T17:25:04","slug":"picture-in-time-blackpool-balloon-709-719","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=23807","title":{"rendered":"Picture in Time: Blackpool Balloon 709 &#038; 719"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Picture in Time continues today and in this instalment we are in Blackpool for a view of a couple of Balloons at Bispham.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The two Balloon Cars seen here are <strong>719<\/strong> (on the left) and <strong>709<\/strong> \u2013 two trams which remain in Blackpool to this day but have both been modified to become part of the B fleet with widened entrances. <strong>719<\/strong> has just terminated with a service from the south and the rear destination blind seems to have already been changed for a return trip to Pleasure Beach. As for <strong>709<\/strong> it is on the southbound line and will also be heading to Pleasure Beach.<\/p>\n<p><strong>719<\/strong> is in the 1980s style of fleet livery whilst <strong>709<\/strong> has received the 1990s version. Both have T side adverts with the right hand tram advertising the Russ Abbot show at North Pier.
