Its another Bank Holiday this weekend which can mean only one thing \u2013 another Gold weekend in Blackpool! With the previously announced Centenary Car tour on Friday 24th August kicking things off there will then be three days of intensive heritage tram tours between Pleasure Beach and Fleetwood Ferry which will now be unaffected by a Prom closure after the cancellation of the planned concerts on the Tower Headland.<\/p>\n
The usual six tram service will run over all three days of the weekend with the Saturday and Sunday set to see a seventh tram on Prom specials, with Boat 600 due to be in use subject to weather and availability \u2013 fulfilling the role it used to in days gone by during peak season.<\/p>\n
Friday 24th August<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Centenary Tram Tour<\/strong><\/p>\n Using Centenary Cars 642<\/strong> and 648<\/strong> the two trams will perform a number of trips along the tramway leaving Hopton Road at 1612 (642<\/strong>) and 1615 (648<\/strong>) with the trams due back after an evenings fun on Hopton Road at 2107 (642<\/strong>) and 2110 (648<\/strong>).
