Isle of Man Railways have run Santa specials on the Steam Railway in the past and have now decided to extend that to the Manx Electric Railway to allow passengers to enjoy the winter scenery in anticipation of meeting the main man himself.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Santa Trams will be departing Derby Castle, Douglas on Saturday 15<sup>th<\/sup>, Sunday 16<sup>th<\/sup>, Saturday 22<sup>nd<\/sup> and Sunday 23<sup>rd <\/sup>December and travelling all the way through to Ramsey with Santa being in his grotto at Laxey alongside entertainment, festive refreshments and face painting. Tickets will cost \u00a310 for adults and \u00a38 for children (which includes<br \/>\na gift from Santa).<\/p>\n<p>Trams will also be running on Saturday 1<sup>st<\/sup> and Sunday 2<sup>nd\u00a0 <\/sup>December to a Christmas Market inside the Laxey Working Men\u2019s Institute withnormal fares applying and for those with tram tickets entrance is free.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For the first time ever Santa Trams are to run on the Manx Electric Railway with Santa setting up a grotto at Laxey on two weekends in December.
