{"id":19751,"date":"2017-12-09T10:14:37","date_gmt":"2017-12-09T10:14:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=19751"},"modified":"2018-03-15T19:32:07","modified_gmt":"2018-03-15T19:32:07","slug":"around-the-world-in-18-trams-basel-blt-155","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=19751","title":{"rendered":"Around the World in 18 Trams: Basel BLT 155"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We have already had one visit to Basel in this series but we head back to Switzerland again in this edition but this time we look at a tram from Baselland Transport (BLT) who work the longer routes out to the far suburbs \u2013 with one route crossing into France for about 3km before heading back into Switzerland.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->In this view we see BLT tram <strong>155<\/strong> running up the grassed reservation next to Aeschengraben towards the SBB Bahnhof stop (the main railway station) whilst working on route 11 from St Louis-Grenxe to Aesch Dorf. This is a fairly modern tram built in the last couple of years and is a Stadler Tango.
