Well if you have a chance is about to come up with the lower saloon of <strong>Aberdeen Corporation Tramways 54<\/strong> \u2013 built in 1902-3 as an open topper before receiving a top deck cover in later life \u2013 to be sold at a farm auction on Saturday 21st October.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The lower saloon was one of several tram bodies sold upon the closure of Aberdeen Corporation Tramways in 1958 into private ownership. It found itself into the ownership of Norman Robertson and following his death in 2016 a large number of items are to be auctioned off including numerous tractors as well as the tram body.<\/p>\n<p>The body of <strong>54<\/strong> is said to be in poor condition and we currently have no details if a reserve has been placed on the tram but presumably anyone bidding for it would need to find a new home for it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ever fancied owning a unrestored tram body?
