{"id":18035,"date":"2017-07-22T20:38:53","date_gmt":"2017-07-22T19:38:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=18035"},"modified":"2017-07-22T20:38:53","modified_gmt":"2017-07-22T19:38:53","slug":"picture-in-time-nottingham-express-transit-205","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=18035","title":{"rendered":"Picture in Time: Nottingham Express Transit 205"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This edition of Picture in Time is in the East Midlands as we feature Nottingham Express Transit with Incentro <strong>205<\/strong> the tram in the picture.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->As with all of the Incentro trams <strong>205<\/strong> was built by Bombardier at their Derby works \u2013 the only class of modern trams for the UK built within the UK with Bombardier now concentrating their tram construction on mainland Europe \u2013 and after completion the tram made the short journey from Derby to the new state of the art depot at Wilkinson Street. Going through the usual commissioning process <strong>205<\/strong> was ready to enter service as NET opened in March 2004 and has remained in use ever since carrying the name Lord Byron.<\/p>\n<p>In this view we see <strong>205<\/strong> arriving at The Forest with a service from Station Street to Phoenix Park. <strong>205<\/strong> is still in the original dark green, black and silver livery with roof adverts.
