{"id":17742,"date":"2017-06-20T20:35:10","date_gmt":"2017-06-20T19:35:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=17742"},"modified":"2017-06-20T20:35:10","modified_gmt":"2017-06-20T19:35:10","slug":"picture-in-time-leeds-525","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=17742","title":{"rendered":"Picture in Time: Leeds 525"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today Picture in Time is going back to 1958 for a view from Leeds Corporation Tramways with one of the Feltham trams transferred from London featuring.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The tram in this shot is no. <strong>525<\/strong> which was one of 90 Feltham trams transferred from London Transport in 1950-51 to operate in the West Yorkshire city of Leeds until the system there also closed in 1959. <strong>525<\/strong> \u2013 as numbered in Leeds &#8211; was from a batch of trams which were originally built for Metropolitan Electric Tramways in 1930.
