{"id":17308,"date":"2017-05-08T20:51:07","date_gmt":"2017-05-08T19:51:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=17308"},"modified":"2017-05-08T20:51:07","modified_gmt":"2017-05-08T19:51:07","slug":"in-pictures-glasgow-488%e2%80%99s-welsh-restoration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=17308","title":{"rendered":"In Pictures: Glasgow 488\u2019s Welsh restoration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s been a while since we have reported on the ongoing restoration of <strong>Glasgow 488<\/strong> at the Ffestiniog Railway but that is partly because since we last took a look at the tram not a lot has actually being happening! The tram remains in two halves (three parts if you include the truck) with work not seeming to have progressed over the past 12 months.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The stunningly restored lower deck \u2013 which includes the staircases to lead to the upper deck \u2013 is stored at the back of the new slate wagon storage shed whilst the upper deck, which has not yet entered the workshops for restoration, is stored under a tarpaulin in the yard at Boston Lodge.
