{"id":17060,"date":"2017-04-06T18:08:42","date_gmt":"2017-04-06T17:08:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=17060"},"modified":"2017-04-06T18:08:42","modified_gmt":"2017-04-06T17:08:42","slug":"picture-in-time-blackpool-coronation-314","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=17060","title":{"rendered":"Picture in Time: Blackpool Coronation 314"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today Picture in Time is once again in Blackpool and this time around we take a look at a tram which is now scrapped \u2013 it is <strong>Coronation Car 314<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><strong>314<\/strong> entered service at the start of March 1953 and was one of the Coronation Cars to run with its VAMBAC equipment for its entire operating career. This image was taken at Starr Gate in 1963 and shows <strong>314<\/strong> waiting behind a Railcoach whilst operating a full length journey to Fleetwood. Of course not only has the tram been scrapped since but this location looks very different today with a big tram depot now located to the right of the photo.
