{"id":16885,"date":"2017-03-18T19:14:59","date_gmt":"2017-03-18T19:14:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=16885"},"modified":"2017-03-18T19:16:33","modified_gmt":"2017-03-18T19:16:33","slug":"picture-in-time-nottingham-express-transit-201","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=16885","title":{"rendered":"Picture in Time: Nottingham Express Transit 201"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Into the East Midlands for this edition of Picture in Time as we take another look at Nottingham Express Transit with the first Incentro tram, <strong>201<\/strong>, featured.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Although the first numbered tram in the 15 strong fleet of Bombardier built trams, <strong>201<\/strong> wasn\u2019t actually the first to be delivered to the new Wilkinson Street Depot with that honour falling to <strong>202<\/strong> (October 2002) but it soon arrived in Nottingham and started the process of being commissioned for service ahead of the network opening to the public in March 2004. Although initially delivered in the then standard fleet livery <strong>201<\/strong> quickly received an all over advert for Powergen and over the years has carried a number of non-standard liveries.<\/p>\n<p>We catch up with <strong>201<\/strong> in its second advert for Powergen at Station Street showing to good effect the layout at the terminus with a two track terminus.
